I created this tumblr because I always end up browsing for hours before I do a new manicure, and I wanted the world's best nail art available in one place. I'm not into the average art you can get at any corner nail salon, I like the new, crazy, interesting nail art. It's the 21st century, your nails shouldn't look like the 90s!

2009 Promotion of ‘The Fame Monster’ in Berlin: Back in 2009, Gaga began her early promotion of her second album, appearing at numerous press events around the world. In September she made a photocall appearance in Berlin to discuss her upcoming album and promote her Heartbeats headphones. I thought this dress was so cute, so I wanted to do a design for it.
Colors & Materials Used: White base coat with black nail art pen designs and straight-edged ‘moon’ in Fuchsia Power (Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear).
If you check out the link above, you can see that Gaga switched shoes during this event; which is where the addition of the pink came from. Also, this was my first time using a nail art pen and the application wasn’t quite as smooth as I had hoped, but it beats dipping a toothpick in polish!

My nails are all dressed up for the Oscars tonight…even though the rest of me will be in my pajamas as I watch the big show!
The tuxedo nail is inspired by Zooey Deschanel’s Golden Globes 2012 tuxedo manicure, and it’s so easy to recreate. Simply paint your nail white, and once it’s dry, use a thin paintbrush or striper to create a black “x” near your cuticle. This is the bow tie! Use the paintbrush/striper or switch over to a dotting tool or toothpick to fill in the bow tie (I also added a final dot in the middle of the bow tie to represent the knot in the bow tie). Finish the look by adding on three buttons with your dotting tool/toothpick, and using a black nail polish or black striper to swipe a black French tip across your nail. Once it’s all dry, seal in your design with your favorite top coat!
The rest of my nails feature a white base color with Connect the Dots (Lynderella) layered over the white.
