I created this tumblr because I always end up browsing for hours before I do a new manicure, and I wanted the world's best nail art available in one place. I'm not into the average art you can get at any corner nail salon, I like the new, crazy, interesting nail art. It's the 21st century, your nails shouldn't look like the 90s!

Galaxy nails
I started with a navy blue base, then layered on colors from dark to light (black, dark purple, teal, gray, green, lavender, pink, yellow) in swirly patterns. You should wipe the brush almost clean before you put it to your nail so it paints in a blotchy/streaky pattern. Just keep layering colors until it looks the way you want. When it looks right, add lots of different glitters, some white and gold dots for stars, clear coat and you’re done!

The first attempt at galaxy nails. After the black polish, I sponged on some white, followed by purple glitter on the sides of the whites, and topped off with dashes of green and silver glitter.
